Dear Diary,
Today was a great day. Who knew high school could be so much fun? Definately not me. It's like the more you talk to people and put yourself out there, them ore people respond. I used to be so shy about high school. You see in moveis how the new girl is always the one being picked on or bullied. It's different here. When mom told me we were moving to Aquatica, I was like what is that. I've never heard of it before and it doesn't sound too pleasent. Actually to me it sounded like a fairy tale. Turns out that's basically what it is. Everyday is a good day here. I have made so many friends and even mom seems happier. It's fun going to the movies and the mall all the time because it is mostly people my age working there and even then you can make a new friend. Mom keeps telling me I should get a part time job now but with the law saying that all I need is a diploma to get into a good career, I'd rather put all my energy into that. But anyway, tomorrow I have a field trip for science class. We are going to Sea World. I don't know what it is but dolphins are a big deal around here. Anyway, I'll fill you in on my day tomorrow but good night for now. Love always, Lily <3
Dear Journal,
I have been living in Aquatica for 20 years now and I must say voting has become easier and easier. My wife and I are normally debating on who to vote for but for the past few years, the candidates have been a little more dedicated and convincing. The wife says the day we agree on a politician is the day hell freezes over. I guess there is no such thing as hell anymore because we even get together with some members of the community and wear the t-shirts showing our support for our candidates. Our children love the this place so much that I see them on the rarest occasions. I mean I always knew that the kdis were going to want to move out and possibly travel as far away from us but they live practically on the other side of Aquatica. I saw my oldest daughter at church a few weekends ago. I was happy to see she didn't give up her religion even though she isn't living with me and Becky. I'm relieved that I don't really have to worry about them though because it was just yesturday I heard about a shooting in my work mates area down in Toronto. It makes Aquatica seem kind of boring when you constantly watch the news about other places but hey, better safe than sorry. Well I'm going fishing with Fred now. Keep ya posted, John.
Dear Journal,
It's me Deborah again. Today was an okay day. I mean I love my job directing and everything but it seems like more and more young people are entering the force. I know that having a diploma is enough to get a stable career but to me there are just some jobs that need a little more than that. Most high schools don't teach you about how to operate a camera or edit out scenes or other technical things like that. I feel like these kids are just putting whatever skills they think they need to succeed on their resumes to make it look better. Don't get me wrong, it can be fun working with kids because you remember how you were at their age. And for the most part, most of them really are eager and willing to learn as much as they can. Unfortunately I do come across some that just like the money that comes with it. Thank god with all the money I'm making I don't have taxes to take it all away. I mean what a life saver that is. It leaves me a lot more money to do the things I want and buy things I need whenever I can. Aquatica is having a celebration nation wide celebrating differences in people. I guess it's sort of like a mulitcultural day. It should be pretty safe because it is apart of the 10 Eloquent Commandments not to be disrespectful and to accept different people. All in all, today was an okay day, I mean I've had better but maybe I'm just a little tired. What is there to really complain about?

The Declaration of Independance
The problem with today's society is the lack of equality. As small as it sounds, being treated as equals makes a big difference. I find that today, there are a lot of people who do not deserve some of the freedoms and pleasures they have. So with this society called Aquatica, no one can be treated more or less than the work and commitment they put in to be rewarded with this action.
I've watched a lot of things that I think are wrong get handled even more wrong in some society's. It all goes back to the idea of fairness. What is fairness? In Aquatic I believe that there is no excuse if you do wrong. I am putting it upon myself to promise that if at any time someone feels like Aquatica isn't the almost perfect society for people to live in, I will personally take the fall and reward the citizens greatly. However, I am so confident in the promise for this Utopia that I don't see any way any one can be unhappy.
People talk about what they would do or how they wish things could be. In Aquatica, there is no more wonder and worry about that. I felt the need to create a "more perfect society" simply to build the trust of people all around the world and show them that there is a reasonable way to have everything you want and more without facing any hardships. It is bad enough some people don't have the support of their family and/or friends when they need it but sometimes the circumstances around you can make things seem unfair. Here in Aquatic, there is no feeling this way anymore because you will always have someone to turn to and help you as much as possible when you need it.
So I make this vow, No more inequality, No more passes on human rights, No more feeling dismissed, lonely or unheard. This will be a society where every one's voice will be heard and what we do as a society will benefit us at all times.

The Ten Eloquent Commandments
1) Crime, Discrimination, Sexual Abuse, and any other means of harm towards another is completely forbidden.
2) Everyone is expected to treat one another with the up most respect and fairness.
3) All citizens are required to vote when necessary to ensure that everyone has a voice when it comes to change and improvements in our society.
4) No business is allowed to charge tax at any cost. Instead citizens will be required to pay a yearly community tax during tax season to go towards hospitals and other organizations that need public funding.
5) Everybody has the freedom of speech and protest as long as he/she are respectful and use non- violent tactics to fight.
6) All citizens will show appreciation for their country by owning and appropriately displaying a dolphin rosary.
7) A high school diploma is required in order for any citizen to gain a job and/or career long term while living in Aquatica.
8) Health care is free to all citizens provided they have no criminal record and have an official Aquatican landing document or citizenship.
9) Any religion can be practiced as long as it is not being used to discriminate against other religions and can be practiced without offending any other party.
10) A yearly carbon footprint will be required to hand in and a suspension or charge will be given if proven you are contributing to any pollution increases that year. If you live in a household with more than one person, only 1 footprint needs to be submitted (considered a family print).
Crime, discrimination and sexual abuse are problems that most if not all society's have. In Aquatica, this problem will be almost abolished because it saves us time and money to make it mandatory not to act on these actions and overall creates a comfortable environment for everyone.
Respect is the gold key to humanity. Without respect, it is hard for people to get along and come to a common understanding. The concept of respect humbles people and forces them to treat people with equality and fairness as much as possible.
Voting is the main outlet to achieving success in any society. This is a rule because people feel welcomed and important when their community is giving them a voice and a chance to make change for themselves. If a candidate c an promise something to them, why not help them voice their opinion. Also making this a must ensures that there can't be any complaints if something doesn't go the expected way.
Taxes have become a burden to many society's. With all the problems surrounding taxes, why not cut it out. Our society only asks for a stationary payment every year of $2000.00 to go towards community needs and facilities. This way people can't complain about prices and their funds getting out of control because they will only have to be responsible for what they choose to spend minus the two thousand dollars they must pay.
Of course there really is no such thing as a perfect world and we recognize this. Giving citizens the freedom of speech and protest allows them to express how they feel if they are really adamant about it and be able to achieve their personal goals with respect and consideration for their concerns.
Like the catholic religion, it is custom to own a rosary or like Christians, a crucifix. To show love, dedication and respect for Aquatica, all citizens should own a dolphin rosary. Some may choose to wear it and others may let it hang on their door knob or in their car. This is a strong rule because showing support for your country is a strength that even the rest of the world can't compete with. It demonstrates a common belief that we all share which is that there is no place like Aquatica and we believe in it's promise.
Education is very important and the government in Aquatica is very serious about the importance in getting a high school diploma. We recognize that school isn't for everyone and what they choose to do after high school is entirely up to them. However you can't be rewarded for not caring about your own education. Anyone without a high school diploma at any age can only work part time and gain a part time salary. This makes it almost impossible for people less deserving to have a better life than others.
Health care is a must and as much as we can go to the doctor or hospital, it isn't always free. As long as you are a resident at Aquatica and have never had a criminal record including from another country, all the health care in the world will be provided for you and all for free. It is deserving and also convenient for all of us who need it.
Not everyone is the same and therefore not everyone will practice the same religion. We must respect the religions around us and be open to differences. Although some religious people may disagree with others, in order to be a permanent member of Aquatica, you must be accepting to all religions and religious views that one may have.
Lastly, we can't have a near perfect society when it is filled with garbage and toxic air. The environment is important and we must show it the same respect we show each other. A carbon footprint is merely a way to monitor how much of one's utilities are damaging Aquatica. It is required because in order for all of us to be happy, we must cater to the well being of our community. The best way to achieve this is to make sure that we aren't all being affected due to a flaw in one area.
